VOROTNABERD is an expansive cultural and tourism infrastructure, aimed at creating a vibrant new destination that celebrates Armenian heritage. Its mission focuses on researching, reviving and preserving this rich cultural legacy while promoting it on an international scale.

Family heritage services

We offer personalized services to Armenian families in both Armenia and the Diaspora, helping to research, revive, recreate, and exhibit the valuable heritage of their ancestors.

Signature gifts and garments

We craft heritage-inspired signature gifts and garments for the state, embassies, international organizations, and corporations in Armenia and the Diaspora.

Revival of Museum artifacts

In collaboration with local institutions like the History Museum of Armenia and the Sardabarat Museum of Ethnic Culture, our team researches and revives samples from over 100,000 artifacts, including archaic rituals, ethnic games, embroidery, jewelry, traditional instruments, and more.

Reviving Armenia's Cultural Heritage in armenia and diaspora

We strive to enhance Armenia's tourism through sustainable practices, preserving cultural heritage, and creating high-quality experiences that drive economic growth and community development.
Traditional weddings, ethnic games festivals, local and international events are to be hosted at VOROTNABERD.

VOROTNABERD

Sustainability is at the core of VOROTNABERD.
The project consists of four main components: the ethnic museum and research center, hub of artisan houses and ethnic games arenas in Syunik,
and capacity building center in Yerevan.

Ethnic museum and research center Syunik

Nestled in the majestic mountains of Syunik, an ethnic museum, research center, and recreation lab will be established, serving as a hub for exhibitions, scholarly research, and private events.

Ethnic Games Festival Arena Syunik

The infrastructure for traditional games will be unparalleled, offering outdoor and indoor spaces to recreate Armenian horse games, castle capture contests, and other games from more than 2,000 games researched.

Artisan hub Syunik

Fostering local employment and balanced regional development the hub with dozens of artisan houses will be the heart and the soul of VOROTNABERD. From embroidery to jewelry making, from woodworking to glass making, the artisans will recreate beautiful artifacts thus keeping the traditions alive.

Vorotnaberd center in Yerevan

VOROTNABERD aims to have a representation in Yerevan. This center is aimed to help displaced population of Artsakh learn Armenian traditional crafts. The center will also have a showroom that will exhibit revived artifacts, family collections and host small cultural events.
